bamboo shark with a nice group of schooling fish. that would be a nice looking fowlr set up IMO

i was planning on doing that( with a coral cat shark) but i was told the overall hight was not enough. I have been thinking and IMO a big cummunity tank with abunch of small fish would be really cool. more pics will come soon.

What is the height of the tank? Because as I understand it, height is not a tremendously important factor for a benthic shark tank.

Looks like an awesome setup. get some water in that thing!

just got the RO system all hooked up...but i broke my elbow so working finishing the tank will prob be in the next 2 weeks:(

that sucks....

go with a reef shark... like a black tip. i dont think they need that tall of a tank since they are reef sharks and use to swimming along shallow water.

I hope you are joking......black tips need huge tanks in the thousands of gallons range.

They have a potential maximum size as long as his tank is.....wow. Do a little research or at least have some common sense before giving advice like that....

i was referring more to a smaller black tip that would take some time to outgrow it.then he could do whatever he wanted with it. its like telling someone with a 150g tank to not keep a silver aro or arapiama. but people still do. they just worry about it later when the fish outgrows the tank. too many people are joy killers. im happy there isnt a law that you must show a picture of your tank before you buy any fish to make sure that the fish would be able to grow to its maximum size and still have enough room. let someone enjoy something cool for a while.

im also assuming that schulace123 is a responsible person and would do the right thing since he is investing a lot of money and time into this project. sheesh.... whatever happened to freedom in america? cant even buy whatever you want without people flaming you telling you that your doing everything wrong. everything is so serious now... live life and be a Bush... screw things up and let someone else fix it later

Are you serious? You're probably one of the most irresponsible persons I've ever come across...

Not a good move, especially when you're dealing with a requiem shark, such as a black tip!
I'm also pretty certain that Freedom in America does not cover the mistreatment of animals. ;)
