What foods to feed peacock cichlids?

Don't know anything specific about that food, but New Life Spectrum is an excellent brand. Not saying there aren't other quality brands, but that is what I use.

Tropical flakes are for tropical fish. i.e. tetras and the like. NLS is great for cichlids.

+1 to New Life Spectrum.

Omega One is also supposed to be pretty good for your Africans. You can also supplement their diet with treats like shelled peas, a wedge of cucumber, blanched spinach leaves... all kinds of stuff, really.

I prefer Hikari for all my freshwater animals =)

i feed mine pellets, spirulina, brine shrimp, bloodworms, and the occasional ghost shrimp (just to watch them chase those buggers down ). pellets in the am then rotate through the spirulina, shrimp, and worms in the pm. all my fish are healthy, bright, and active.
