i saw a video of a snakehead once i found out they were illegal i just continued doing research on other fish and never stopped

My grandad- he bred discus and angels when I was young. He also had a huge Peacock Bass in his apartment- all of which was against the rules for where he lived. I think it was the immaculate manner in which he kept the tanks and the way he was "sticking it to the man" by having pets he loved regardless of the rules. RIP Grandpa.

It was my father who did it for me. We had four tanks when I was growing up, a 100G, 55G, 30G and a 20G. We'd go to the local fish store every week and I still go to the same one as an adult.............

When I was younger we always had a tank on and off. Don't ever remember the fish in it, except for the common pleco. haha.

But when I moved out, I moved in with my fiance, he took a business trip out to Texas for 2 weeks, leaving me alone with nothing to do.

My mom gave me a 10 gallon tank... and 3.5 years later I still have those fish, but not in that tank!
