wow...i have been riding for 50 yrs, this is reality not the movies, as to waving, well just common courtesy we extend to each other, be careful one day you may need some help and it just might be a biker who helps you

a true story from my young crazy days which would prolly explain why no one stopped ahhahahah

driving cross country from toronto to regina had my car keep shorting out every bump i hit suddenly one big pop noise and wham car rolls to a stop.

so here i am watching the normal people drive by no one will stop up pulls a harley and the dude gets out his tool pouch and in 15 minutes he fixes what is wrong and off he goes.

i totally agree with the above courtesy comment.

i also think that people are waking up to the reality that life is to short to spend it in places where crime will take you

Yeah but that is a canadian biker, they are a different breed of biker. Haha just kidding we have hells angels here too. My uncle is a biker, rides a harley, Looks like a badass but one of the nicer guys i know

Not every biker is a Hells Angel, or an Invader...

I ride, and have ridden for a long time now, and havent had any run ins with psycho bikers like on TV. But of course I am not stupid enough to go flipping off some big dude on a bike, or ina truck, or even in a VW beetle for thay matter.

If you are looking for someone to beat the crap out of you then just keep randomly flipping people off, and it helps to drive like a jerk too, because wee all love that, and dont be suprised if the person that does mop the floor with you is driving a pruis, or a lexus, or maybe even a Harey or a Honda VTX..

You just never know.
Most bikers I know are really nice guys, until someone gives them a reason notto be. And I guess I fall into that category as well

Oh I get it. Common courtesy. So since bikers only wave to other bikers, does that mean they wouldn't stop to help a non-biker? :grinno:

You aparrently didn't quite understand the point of my original post.

Aren't you like... twelve?

edit: nevermind... I got it... funny...?

got what? I'm 15 and I worked part time in a pub, that lots of bikers frequented.

my parents ride they are in there later 50s and are very nice, they ride with a number of people and when they go into a restaunt people will move away, there are all very nice people just look ruff, most of the group they ride with ride goldwings, some are even trikes, its just funny to see peoples reaction when they walk in,

HA both my parents ride harley's and my mom is a nurse and my step dad is manager at a factory and they have never hurt anyone, the whole rebel biker thing is a myth i've seen more hardcore christian bikers then anything and i live in so cal with the mongols and hells angels. ITS ALL A LIE
