It is a breeding company. Oceans, Reefs, and Aquariums is the brand. So they are very good tank raised fish. They have to spend the money to keep the fish and breed them and grow them up instead of just plucking fish from the ocean.

You can look it up online if you want more information.

I like open tops as well. I currently have mine completely open. That will be changing soon though. I plan on putting a canopy of sorts on it, but with a completely open top to hold my new MH's. It will just cover the sides and keep fish in.

I personally am not a fan of that type of clown. Obviously just an opinion.

Definitely saved urself some cash by going with the tomato instead.

Sounds like a good plan. I made a new top out of egg crate. Only took 10 minutes to cut. Also I ordered the glass top that fits my aquarium. Not sure which one I will use yet.

I did end up getting a tomato clown. He is about an inch and doing great. He got picked on a bit but it's fine now.

Ok. Time to back up to clowns are not jumpers. Came home tonight to find one of my clowns dead on the floor. I'm a little upset about the " clowns are not jumpers" comment

That is surprising!!!! I never had a problem with them jumping, not even when startled!

Come to think of it, I had a canopy on my tank with a 6 bulb tek light fixture, so that really isn't an "open top." Maybe that is why I never lost a clown....

You bloody well WILL be a fan when they are in my aquarium!

What do u want them to host?

My tomato clown immeditiately took to my rose bubble tip. It's kinda cool to watch.

BTAs are probably the best/safest bet when trying to get a symbiotic clown/anemone relationship going. My Tomatos are weird though... they have no interest in any of my LPS corals, and stick strictly to the hair green mushrooms.
