What Hybrid Is This?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i dont mind if mine doesnt fade, it makes them look more natural i guess!

I have one that looks a lot like this, still no fade on that one either but it's getting more color. This one looks a bit different, has a normal mouth and sloped forehead instead, but almost the same colors as yours. Here's the thread link, it has the pics - http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/fo...r-hyrbid-midas
we'll have to have a comp and see who's fades first!

I found a little time tonight to work on fish photos. We are still trying to figure out what a wrong with the camera settings, it's almost like this one will focus on the fish fine and then try to refocus on the glass, so the photos are a bit noisy from it. I went to feed today and noticed a break of color finally. He had been getting a bit darker this past week and a bit more red in the fins I thought, but nothing else. I even considered the red in the fins to just be from the darker tones overall, but today there were a few breaks of bright orange finally. The shoulders, chest, and gill plates are showing more color, but not a good break - but on the left side by the stomach you can see a few scales are now bright orange.
First photo is from 12/4 showing the before. Second and third are from today.

Compared the first photo, you can clearly see the orange starting to show through
