relative to the buyer, me I pay easily $100 if local, I know there is on in a Pet store, "You Can't afford it, so don't ask!" in store roughly $300, peer to peer as many would have stated, a lot less than what you would expect from a LFS. If you find the right buyer, $250 tops. but the average hobbist is probably only going to pay $100-$150

I sold a fresh imported monster 30"+ for over $300, but that was at a LFS. And like most said, you will not get what you want from a LFS. Probably about 1/3 of what they will sell it for, and probably store credit.

I would personally pay $150 - $200 for a 30".

Another thing to think about is this, from a hobbyist stand point, either your selling it to make money or you can't house it anymore. Either way, it can put a certain taste in people's mouths' and alter your asking price.
