What is your view of the quality of the Marineland setups? Petsmart has one on sale now for 399.00. I am very leary of complaints about new tanks leaking within a year.
One of my 75gs is a Marineland meh its ok it has warranty on it or something like that for 5 years I believe dont quote me I need to find the paperwork for it- its about 3 years old

My 90g was $339 sticker price. I think it's actually a 10 year warranty but i could be wrong. Must be registered any they'll basically replace the tank, not cover whatever damage 90g of water does to my house

Wow paid 800 dollars for my 180 gallon included glass lids, strip lights and stand.
It was many years ago ?
Same here pretty much.I realize times have changed and prices for just about everything is higher and all but sheesh!.....but on the other hand I bought my 75 used for under two hundred dollars.

"What is a affordable but quality tank these days ??"

Pretty much an oxymoron

I just ordered a custom acrylic (3/4") 325g 62x42x30 from Truvu. $4169. Honestly from looking at prices for pre-built acrylic tanks, online, I got a killer deal. I'm seeing 5k+ for similar gallon sizes before shipping costs. I saved a bunch because they are 20 minutes from my house and I can pick up , no freight fees.

Waterbox and Redsea make some really nice aquariums with thick glass, great warranty and service, and solid wood stands. I believe the RedSea’s stands have internal metal framing as well.

They’re not cheap but do come with lighting and filtration. Might be what you’re looking for

Thank you for the replies !

To minimize silicone seal leaks (new wood floors), I am leaning towards the Clear For Life 75 gallon setup....BUT cost is steep at $ 1,860.00 for tank and wood stand. Do they ever go "on sale" ?

Thanks to all that replied. I ended buying a used 75 gallon setup and put it in the basement... No luck so far in finding a used acrylic setup for the main floor.
