If price was not a factor, what do you guys think is the best brand out there when it comes to making highest quality pellets for fish? We want our fish to be eat good food so they have can grow to their potential size and have longevity. Let's hear your opinion.

tetramin for flakes, for algae wafers i use wardley not hirakari, wardley has good pellets and cichlid food

NLS pellets are good, I feed my fish Hikari floating pellets, and my tetras and angels Tetramin flakes.

Check the SA/CA section, there is a long thread that gets deep into specifics of fishfood. It's titles Ken's fishfoods vs New Life Spectrum but covers a wider range of options than the title suggests.

New LIfe Spectrum is my prefered choice... Omega Foods are well regarded in the thread I mentioned...

Thanks. I just read a couple of threads in the SA/cA section and it seems like there is no such thing as the BEST FOOD. It's more of a choice of preference on each individual owner.

what is a good sinking pellet that doesnt cloud, break apart clogging filters or leave a film on top of the water?

what kind of pellet ya lookin for? and in what size?
NLS will sink and doesn't do any of the mentioned above, generally most algae wafers won't break apart either, and for carnivore types a lot of people like hikari's carnivore or massivore pellet...

on a side note wardley's shrimp pellets practically create a dust storm upon contact with water.
