What is brand make the highest quality fish pellets?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ya massivore is good you will see massive growth to hahaha

My favorites in this order: 1-New Life Spectrum (pellet), 2-Omega One (flake, freeze-dried & pellet), 3-Ocean Nutrition (pellet & flake), 4-Hikari (frozen & algae wafers), 5-HBH (pellet & flake)

Tetra is just ok, Nutrafin MAX is all filler, Wardley is junk.

tetramin for flakes,for algae wafers i use wardley not hirakari, wardley has good pellets and cichlid food

:ROFL::nilly:
Taken from wardley cichlid pellets:
Fish Meal, Wheat Flour, De-hulled Soy Bean Meal, Soy Protein Isolate, Brewer's Dried Yeast, Wheat Middlings, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Rice Flour,
All fillers and indigestible crap that your fish cannot use.

my fish love the hikari floating pellets but they break apart so easily and makes the tank look like crap for an hour or so---whats a good floating pellet that does not break apart so easily---and no im not overfeeding

New life spectrum has some really good pellets. Omega-One makes good flakes.

if cost isnt an issue get dainichi. it blows the others out of the water but personally i use hikari

I would still have to argue that NLS is better. The first ingredient on dainichi is white fish meal (Bones and other wasted parts from processing plants.) and the second is wheat, which contradicts the fact that they say they use no fillers in their product. (IDK about koi/goldfish, but I would argue NLS is better for omnivores/carnivores.)
