Hi... Mostly for Malaysian only know striata, micro, marulioides and lucius. It's common SH fish that they kept in tank. But not so many Malaysian like me love to study about other species of SH. And other species of SH been limited to find in LFS. For me I'd love to watch my micro when I feed them. They love to keep their tank clean always... :), and when I have my drink I'd love to watch my maru for their beauty... :).
But for me hopefully one day I could keep other SH like barca and argus.

:)

Parachanna Africanus , although a smaller species , they seemed to make up for in attitude and personallity, what they lacked in size. Also P. insignus, and obscura were interesting. Years ago I raised a C. Mico to 28 inches . It was a real beast ! .... It's a shame that due to the lack of knowledge of snakeheads by the people and government fearmongering propaganda that people in the U.S. are banned from obtaining them.

I love my pulchra, but would also like a blehri because of how pretty they are..... I'd also love a larger one but don't know what species the obe I drooled over in the lfs was.... Have a picture of a pulchra (my first ever interesting fish :D )

# 1 would be Channa Barca. But it´s far beyond my range (both in availability and price)

Among the medium size (and affordable) channa I would pick auratimaculata and pleurophtalma.

Between the 2 species, I opted for aurantimaculata (and will be receiving a group of 5 prob next week!!)

You'll have to share some pic's when they arrive ! My vote.. still for Aurantimaculata !
