Rosy barbs get over 5 inches, are they big?

I say that anything over 6 inches is kind of big. It depends on what tank size and what it is being compared to. For instance, a White Cloud Mountain Minnow is big compared to it's fry, or big compared to a 591 ml betta "tank."
A tinfoil barb is small compared to a mekong giant catfish and large compared to a 30 gallon tank or a rosy barb. Things are relative. What fish is large when you consider the grand scale of the universe?
To me, the best big fish is any one I own as long as it is in the family "cyprinidae" and as long as it has several buddies to shoal with.
