I have been looking for a good cleaner fish to keep with my pbass to help keep the bottom clean, i was thinking of a pleco but i know they are more of a glass cleaner, or maybe a clown loach, but i am really interested in a gold nugget but not to sure...im just looking for suggestions, any would help, thanks, Joe

What ever you get it had better grow fast and get large...

i mean....they get about 7 inches i think...i saw a bunch of them at the shedd aquarium in chicago. does the bass really try to eat bigger fish like that?

...you can keep plecos wioth just about anything. i had a royal when he was like 2 inches or less with an arowana that was like...14 inches back then.

yeah...i don't think gold nugget pleco grow to big, and they grow pretty slow, and i don't want to run the risk of them getting eaten....are common plecos good gravel cleaners too?

umm, not really, some will. but i wasn't talking about gold nugget for you. I was saying to check out the geophagus. I'm not sure what type of fish it is, but it is definately the next fish I'm going to get. just search some images for geophagus. it means earth cleaner.
I think you can get a good sized (5 inches or so) at a fish store for around 30 or 35.

another thing, I was told by a guy at the fish store that plecos actually very rarely get eaten. they were saying most fish wont eat them, partly probably because they hide for long enough.
