I own both the Python and the Aqueon equivalent and must say that the Aqueon is the better of the two. The python's connection to the sink is pretty crappy in comparison.
yeah id reccomend python all the way (havent tried aqueon though) for me it was life saver no more spilled water ANYWHERE! and waterchanges went from taking 30 min with my small tank to less than 10, i cant wait to try it on my 120g when i get it set up at my new place, my only complaint about it is the adapter part that connects the sink faucet to the plastic venturi drain part on the python, i put it on the first time i got the python and i guess i tightened it too much or something because i cant get it back off (luckily its in my bathroom so not big deal but copper colored metal thing sticking to faucet isnt very attractive, will be taking it off though when my father can come by with one of those wrench things)
but yeah and you can try online to find one used as well i got mine for $25
