I've never noticed any aggresion from them. I did have two females and a male, one of the females died about a month ago. I believe she died of old age tho.

Male and female.

They are just bettas from Wal-Mart tho, nothing special I just liked how they looked and wanted something for the top water. In my experience if you have fish that are always out on the top, tush swimming mud water as well, a lot of my fish that usually hide or sit in the bottom become more active. And with the heat, my tank is usually in the 78-80 degree range.

they look so happy not like mine. and man, your water's quiet warm.
i wanted to put my betta in my bigger tanks but gosh, their all predatory fish and the current is quiet strong.

You take the pantyhose and then drag them across the decoration, if it snags then it will tear the bettas fins. :) That is the only way I know how to explain it.
If you get silk plants you probably don't need to do that test.

oh, ok. i would sure do tht. i have live plants in stock though. :) i would probably mixed them with fake ones. thanks.

so you did weekly water changes or a few water changes in a week? 50% change ? your tank looks awesome though. live plants? no Co2 ?

There is one live plant in there but you can see it. No co2. Just strong lighting and liquid frets.
50% once a week.

Every warm water fish I've ever kept I've kept at this temp. In my experience the fish don't mind it. My growth rates are excellent, and I don't have any problems with disease.
