What is the coolest fish you have seen at petsmart or petco

By banded lepornius and red devil I mean full grown adult ones. For some reason the petco(s) near me have more than usual amount of pike cichlids.

Oh wow! Full grown, largest I’ve seen of a devil at a petsmart or petco was a 7 incher that finally was bought just before I tried to get it...
Only at lfs have I seen large Leporinus.
Almost no pikes whenever I look.

One time I saw silver dollars at petsmart but idk if that's common or not

Silvers are pretty common, sometimes a pacu or piranha in mixed in though.

I have heard of a lot of people finding sunfish and other native fish in the feeder tanks. They must be raised in ponds

Yup that exact thing happened to me. Got a lil baby green sunfish out of the PetSmart feeder tank. Sadly he jumped out of the tank while I was at work tho so only had him for a few months. Also got a mystery killifish too but she just randomly disappeared from the guppy tank so I've got no clue what happened with her.
