I noticed this fish gotten a bit aggressive over time, like if I move my hand next to the tank, he would take notice and react to it. not sure if red throat or sanchezi is like that.
Oh red throat...as in ruby red throat piranha, as in spilo CF, as in Serrasalmus sanchezi. That's why I always use scientific names.

Its very easy to distinguish S. sanchezi from S. rhombeus. You need to examine the scutes on the bottom. If they're regular and orderly it's not a sanchezi, if they're irregular it's a sanchezi. Simple...
