What is the most difficult fish to keep alive?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
neon tetras. biggest PITA to take care of! water parimiters would be glistening and would do the routine introduction, and within minutes theyre dead! why i never went back to community fish, and south american fish for life!

Im a pretty new fish keeper, only fish i lost were:

1 common bristlenose (after putting in gravel, i believe it fell under gravel)
1 Molly (Flowerhorn killed it)
1 guppy type fish (was sick i believe, and so small....)
1 Zebra Danio (got sucked in the big filter in my 55gal)

But so far im sure apart from the ONE guppy, none of my fish died due to lack of care..which im happy with :P

But i think marine fish are HARD to take care of...

discus are easy if you have INCREDIBLE filters and do weekly changes. EBJD's are difficult though and I know a LOT of people have trouble with some of the nicer plecos.

Feeder fish...

NTT for me none make it pass 8". i'm still trying, currently have 4 with the biggest @6". last one die @7", one before that 6", one before that 5". All the other fish just fine and have them from baby.

guppies?????????? you got to be kidding me. one of the easiest fish tokepif you have a tropical tank. armatus hydro would be one of the hardest fish to keep.
