What is the most ridiculous overcrowding you have seen?

I work at a local fish store and a customer said they wanted to take their tank down. They asked for help in exchange for the tank so i said sure. I arrived at the house to see a 55 gallon that was black and almost no fish were visible except shines of red. This 55 housed 7 full sized 8"+ red devils three were a foot long easy. Not to mention the 15-20 adult 5"+ convicts that were breeding. their were about 25 medium convicts as well as their babies about 30 smalls around 2". So now you must be thinking this is horrible, i thought all the fish were out of tank at this point until I lift up a large piece of driftwood that housed a 18"+ pleco. All of these fish were living in harmony as they could barely move or even see eachother. All of the fish were brought back to the fish store . Stuck the pleco in the 200 gallon pond. stuck all the convicts in a 55 and stuck the devils in a 55. all were fine the first week but being in a; new enviroment a healthy one aggression kicked in and the devils were quickly thinned out to about 4. somehow the convicts still live in peace.

can anyone top this?

Yep, seems you know the place. They only have one shark now instead of three. Seems two of them died. Surprise! Surprise!

Yeah, so surprise there. I feel sorry for most of the fish in there. We should report them so they get shut down and we can get a major discount:headbang2

yes, sir some people are idiots. They remind me of those crazy cat ladies who have hundreds of cats in one house. Everyone seems to understand that something like that is wrong, but when it comes to fish, most people couldn't care less. It is sad, pathetic and sick.

This one makes me SICK

29g
1 clown knife 9-10inches:eek:
2 mooray eels 22-26inches
1 shark/catfish thing 6-8inches:eek:
1 tea cup stingray 4" diam

With hiding spots for eels and knife. Makes me wanna get sick. I was being a dick and said hey why dont you throw in an Arowana **** you got everything else

Dealer's holding tanks shouldn't count! They aren't "permanent" homes for the fish like a tank in someone's house.
