I've never eaten it but I've heard it is really good. Though I have also hear it is quite bony.

Correct, they are delicious, but super bony. I smoked them and cooked them in a pressure cooker so the bones were like chalk and fell apart.

On the Esox butter scale you'll find that a "knob" is just a bit more than a "smidgen", but no where near as much as a "dollop"
