What is the Pound 4 Pound toughest/nastiest cichlid

Yeah. Pound for pound for sure.
Easily one of my favorite small-medium sized cichlids.
I want to start a 120g with grammodes, salvini, convicts, and cubans.
Hemichromis Faciatus....no need to debate this any further 
Go out and buy one...they'll have a tank to themselves very quickly.

I have to agree that convicts are pretty nasty. But if they're in there, so are salvinis.

Deff would be a rift lake cichlid. Id have to say a male m. Auratus. Nasty little fish.

Kenyi cichlids are nasty too!
Africans: Auratus, Chipokae, 5 star general (elongatus & fasciatus), Kenyi, buttikoferi
CA: Grammodes, Convict, salvini
Pound for pound in my experience I would say convict. That being said I have a Jack Dempsey not even close to being full grown that just added a decent sized Dovii to it's hit list which now stands at 8. I call it Jack The Ripper.
It seems everyone is talking about breeding and aggression. What about not breeding?
Also African aggression seems to be reduced by over crowding, but CA cichlids IME aren't as simple. With a lot of CA cichlids its an individual thing. I had a male convict that wasn't very aggressive at all, but they are known for their aggression.
