What is the smartest CA/SA cichlid in your Experience and opinion?? I'd say Oscar's, they have smart personality's. But, I want to hear your opinion's??

How is aggression and natural instinct intelligence? Before the op can be answered we all need to agree on the definition of intelligence. Intelligence would be recognizing you, doing tricks, follow a daily routine. Not aggression and personality.

i agree midas madness.. my jag is intelligent cause he knows me.... and is happy when he sees me.. anyone else and he starts flaring up

my "red isletas" most amph. sp. are highly intelligent and interactive

my Dempseys - - previous JD and current EBJD - - have always struck me as being pretty smart . . . I'd reckon Oscars are among the most trainable, like in getting them to respond to the owner, etc.
