So....the hybrid went after my larger RD today and his real colors came out....first off he his alot paler and he has many more spots annnnd his vertical bars are super prominent. He looks like a Texas cichlid with Convict bars...i have a vid of him in another post of mine

Yeah, definitely loooks texcon. Bars extend too far front to be a normal carp. Though can you post a pic of the texcon's dorsal fin and jaws? I wanna see something in clearer detail.
