it is about 5 incehes and i only paid 50buck for him which i think is a fair deal how can i get more colour out of it

My personal opinion is that a good diet with variety is the best way to bring out the color.

I feed my fish a mix of cichlid pellets, shrimp, bloodworms(live and frozen), and about once in awhile they get a few of my home bred guppies

He is still pretty small, but imo he will only get better

VAriety is key to health, and make sure to feed quality frozen foods for color.

so 50 bucks wasnt spending too much wha if i want to breed it what fish should i use to make the colours more intence

Breeding quality Red Texas would be great...get a nice deep red texas...or
some other fish to intensify the pearling

There are no guarentees what you will get when creating hybrids....

If he were mine, I would personally choose to breed him with a fh
hard telling what they would look like
