Ok, ok heh now let me correct here. No that is not a Red Texas, babychris is right it is a golden based Flowerhorn plat for short. However $50 is not that bad of a price so don't trip on it. Second yes Red Texas is a hybrid just like FH but the are not the same a Red Texas is not a Flowerhorn! Also while it used to be true RT do not have red eyes and still to this day 95% of them do not. Some now a days do have the red eyes do to the constant improvements and developments from Thai breeders. About breeding the fish if it were me I would try breeding with a kkp, mamon, or something of that nature good luck to you and enjoy your new fish

they dont look like pearls just coloring if it is its poor quality
