i got it for free and have no clue who its made by. i believe aquaclear, but not sure. any thoughts? and any idea on what kind of filtration it can do??

figgured it would be an AC, what type of pics should i take so i can get a better guess on what it is??
ok, ive ruled that it looks like the 70, now it dosnt have the activated carbon is it a necessity?
7" across the front of the filter, and 4 1/2" from front to back.
if its the 70, would yall say it would be ok for a 30gal?

If it really is the ac70, it will be fine. IF its the ac110 you'll be more than fine. Ac70 does 300gph. Thats a 10x turnover rate per hour. More than enough.
