we'll see. hes the ugly duckling ill raise him and see what he turns into. I make a thread and call it the ugly duckling fish with his progress if i see he started turning funky colors.

Here are some new pics of the weirdo. I didnt notice how beat up he really was in the other tank. He need TLC hopefully he'll get better. ive gotten attached to my little frankenstein. So any help with the ID?

that fish looks beat up. He's shaped like a amphilophus robertsoni but has the colors of a midas/red devil

yes hes beat. they had him in a tank about i would guess 40-55g with 30 or so of his brothers and sisters and other cichlids. and before that he was in a pond with a bunch of other adult cichlids. hopefully i an get him looking better i would hate to loose him im quite attached.

the person that bred these is the owner of a fish store who buys from all sort f vendors so im sure they have all kind of cichlids in that pond.

yeah that to, if it looked anything ike a robertsoni i knew for a fact my husband would have cuaght it since hes been wanting one forever!
