What is this on my pangasius?

I recently did a 70% water change and noticed this white film on my pangasius, like it's shedding skin. Is this normal?

it's just a little scratch. Probably got it from bumping into something. No need to worry, my pangasius also had these scratches. they heal on their own.

i forgot to mention in the post there are bits of its shedded "skin", floating in the water

Do a water test and post the results . Are there any other fish in the the tank? if so, then write down their names and tell if anyone is bullying it.

Most likely just bumped itself. All pangasius species will do this from time to time. They all seem to heal up quickly on their own.

As mentioned above, testing your water is still a good idea.
