I use to label them as bangana diplostoma, or bangana sp. they act just like b. beheri, they clean glass and rocks, but nothing else. they hardly eat anything and usually waste away. but these fish are a bit hard to id. as there are a dozen or so Labeo sp. from Africa that look similar when young.

I fed him for the first time today and he's happily devouring blackworms... it was in a tank full of algae eaters.

I'm not sure if it's visible but there's a single black spot at the base of it's tail.

Yes they do have a turn in the upper lip. i have one in my tank. They are also known as tengas.
