Yes they do have a turn in the upper lip. i have one in my tank. They are also known as tengas.

I think you misunderstand me, they do not have a mouth whose top lip wraps right under, like most labeos. They have a top lip that over hangs the bottom, but it doesn't wrap under. If yours does, you do not have Neolissochilus hexagonolepis.

It looks like it could be a [SIZE=-1]Labeo umbratus or something very similar.[/SIZE]

I needed a fish that can do some house cleaning in the aquarium.

I hope it does the job well. Still very skittish and swimming wild around the tank...

i would be skittish too with the little kitty paw hanging around...

it was territorial and attacking the baby murray cod, so I had to sell him.

Might be a river barb Cyclocheilichthys enoplus.

Mines had a similar mouth shape when it was younger
