I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much. We have established its not a well known external parasite, if it pops up again you would be keen to see it.

I would add him to your community and just continue to keep a watch on him. The chances seem to be quite slim anything too bad would happen or anything communicable would be spread.

I will be honest i did not skim through the entire thread. I would pull it off and look under a microscope. That will give you an answer. It is not anchor worm but could be a fluke perhaps or even a growth.
 
So far it hasnt come back so hoping it was a growth
