YOY longear is what it resembles most..That fish really just does not look like any young Warmouth I have seen, especially in general body shape and proportions..

This fish has red in it's dorsal & anal fins (warmouth never have this) It has quite a lot of blue on it's cheeks (warmouth have a little bit of this but nearly as pronounced) this fish has a white margin on it's opercle (warmouth do not have) and it's mouth is half the size of a warmouth.
And to all those saying hybrid...why? Just because an ID isn't easy doesn't mean you have to pull out the "H" word by golly!

Looks like a longear IMO. I'm pretty familier with pumpkinseeds and it's not that. Never seen a young warmouth in person but based on what I know it's not that either. In fact, it looks very much like my young Northern longears. The red in the fins and the opercle is what really has me sold.
