what is up with my female...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
almost...not as wide on the "cup" and not as heafty...i haven't read them before as they didn't come up in my searches...

i did seperate them...i feel kinda bad for him...going from a large pad full of young ladies to a studio apt. with no cable...

i used a gallon pitcher to move him...he filled the bottom of the pitcher with his disc...i took a few pics with my phone...i will post them when i can upload them...i have to send them to an online album from my phone and i have no text signal in my house...

today she showed little to no interest in eatting:irked::(...she wasn't curling as bad till the other rays got active for the feed...i am thinking i may have to pull her out and put the male in the big tank...i don't want to do that as she could get enven more stressed from that move...lights remain off...she is with females only since last night...

Dont move her. Its too risky. Keep her where she is and continue doing what you're already doing.

thats what i was thinking...i just hope she come around sooner then later...

Sounds like if possible she needs her own tank with little or no activity if you have the space

thats what i was thinking, but the risk is too high...like gshock mentioned...

Well I take that back then listen to gshock he knows better than me lol

i think we are both in the same boat...:grinno:

she is not curling today and seems more active...she has no longer isolated herself from the other females...she has gone to the "ray pile" where i drop the food from...i have to run and get some more food as i though i had bought 2 flat packs, but i can't see the other one in the freezer.:irked:...i will try some market shrimp to see if she will go for some...i will keep my male seperated from her till she is 100%...she has a dent going inbetween her eyes, but her backside and tail are still thick...i will try to get my male on shrimp aswell since he is in my payara tank and i want to get them to eat shrimp aswell...this female started eatting blood worms when she watched him eat a ton of them then follow the leader style she started to eat them....hope for the same with shrimp...i will still give her the food she likes to not deprive her of intake...
