As all of us have been keeping bichirs for quiet sometimes, what is the biggest accomplishment you've ever made so far?
answers can be anything, ...
for example,
start with mine, I've managed to get them off live food, because I cant afford them. I gave them prepared food previously, but still I have to do frequent shopping to get those food.
Now, all my bichirs eat pellets, floating pellets, since we dont have any sinking pellets like those being sold in other country. I did not know what to expect at the beginning, but, as I ran out of live foods that I quarantined, I started giving them floating pellets which have saved me hell lots of money and times, and pellets are way cheaper.
It took me a week for them to start eating the pellet, and I remember back then, I used to lower the water level in my tank, so that my bichirs could easily sense the pellets.
So thats a bit of my story,
whats yours?...
cheers

Owning the only Endli in the county. Only for a few days though.

Not sure if this counts but mine's traveling a round trip of nearly four hours for my first bichir which was a senegal as we have nowhere around here that sells them. Worth the trip though:)

Mine is probably NOT buying a new one everytime i see one:ROFL:
