I don't think that's the issue.

I can't think of another member that brags about how much he has paid for everything at every opportunity.

Why the hatred against the camaro show?

If he can afford to pay high price for fishes that's his choice
If he has a rich father that's his good fortune
What may seems expensive to you may not be to him so just carry on working hard

As for his tank stock, I am sure most of us has gone through the phase of being overstocked

The camaro show if you do not mind, maybe you can upload a picture of your tank

My local fish store is The Wet spot in Portland, Or. And my only complaint I have is thats its a 1/2 hour drive away from my house.

The biggest complaint I have for mine is the lack of quantity/diversity of livestock. Half the tanks sit nearly empty, and the fish that are in them are always the same species, never any variety. When you want to special order a species, you have to ask about 4 or 5 times before it is actually ordered as well.

At least in the shops I have been to and the fish I have seen online I have not seen a tremendous correlation between the cost of the fish and the quality of the livestock.

Some places just charge more than others.

I am not saying that it isn't worth paying a premium for quality fish. I am just saying that don't think that because you are paying a premium you are getting quality fish.

It's hard to find great quality livestock, but you do get places who just have healthy fish and those that don't
