What is your favorite cichlid?

It could be anywhere from a cichla to a apisto.

My favorite is the Aequidens Rivulatus. These fish look great, with the orange fringe around the tail, the strong electric blue on their body and their slashes of fiery blue on their face. Their yellow fins thrust them through the water with such ease. They stay below a foot in most cases and are not afraid of their owner, this means you can pack all the personality of a oscarX10 into a fish that is 3-4" smaller, meaning you can put it in a smaller sized tank.

This a really tough question. I really love CA cichlids for their color, personallity, and attitude. My favorite right now is my a. robertsoni, because of his color and has a personality like an oscar. He is also very peaceful. He is about 6'' right now. I like this pic even with the flash..
