What is your favorite cichlid?

all the parachromis species but mainly the rtm's, loiselles, and the freddies.. dont get too big but are all beautiful and have great attitudes!

My favorite all around fish is the Green Terror. I know its very common but its just such a beauty to look at. I love how its tail fin moved as the fish is stationary. Simply mesmerizing.

Would ever be a Blackbelt Cichlid a Red Devil or even a Jaguar Cichlid . Plus many more i dont really have a frav' .

I'm going with Red Devil. Although I'd also have to say that Salvini and Firemouths are among my favorites as well.

I always loved the peacock bass I had, but I have to say when it comes to personality I am a big fan of oscars. As common as they are they are still very fun to own. It's like having a trouble making puppy tearing around the tank. Mine is always up to something, and occasionally has a tendency to surprise me and sneak up to soak me during feedings. Jerk. Always gets in my mouth. I feel like it's intentional, like it's a practical joke. Either way he's a pig, and I always enjoy his antics.
