what is your favorite daily staple food?

I like to use New Life Spectrum Cichlid Formula small sinking pellet
good for coloration, and I like to watch fish feed from top to bottom of tank
lets everybody eat from top feeders to bottom feeders

but for my African Lungfish I prefer larger floating pellets was using Hikari
hypnotic to watch him swim around gracefully seeking out the floating pellets
he is a bottomless pit and can eat continuously always ready to eat more

I also use Hikari algae wafers as a daily food source
 
My favorite daily staple food? Apples with Peanut Butter, Garlic bread, and popcorn is always good :)


All kidding aside... I just use a WILD MIX of various pellets. including Hikari, Tetra, Wardley's, bird pellets, (yes, really), and so on.
 
Omega One, hands down.
 
Apples with Peanut Butter do you put the Peanut Butter directly on Apple
or just eat it separately at same time?

what kind of bird pellets? and which fish eat um?
 
I use a blend too. I use Hikari, Omega One, Tetra, and HBH. I just mix them up in a bucket and feed from that.

If I had to pick one I would pick Hikari because that's what most of my fish go for first...other than frozen foods.

I used to use Omega One as my staple always liked it
another good one for coloration

the guys at my lfs I trust for info turned me onto the Omega One
and also told me about New Life Spectrum

I always check the "discount table" at PetCo for new additions to my "bucket" of food - hence the crazy mix - These are Mynah bird pellets - vegetable based.
Cichlids and giant gouramis eat them. - But the thing with a mix - if they don't like one, they eat the other, and something else eats that...
 
whole crayfish tails every fish in every tank eats them alternated with prawns and pellets then bloodworm and boiled egg algae wafers are liked aswell
