What is your policy on tipping wait staff?

yes, if there's a delivery charge i don't tip them, plus i usually pay with a card and don't have cash on me

if the same pizza is 10 bucks if i pick it up and it'll cost me 16.99 to have it delivered, i don't see why the company deserves a tip.

I don't even know who delivers pizza these days. And if they do, they charge. If they charge for delivery, then no tip should be given.

and i always pickup pizza now, been a long time since ordered delivery. pizza delivery shouldn't even be tipped, and i think it's kind of funny for people who say waiters/waitresses should get tipped because they make $2/hr and they tip pizza delivery guys who make a standard base pay. and do they get paid mileage? also they can claim it on their income tax return too for using their vehical for work, no? them poor struggling waitresses should go deliver pizza
 
Don't forget that delivery drivers get gas paid for too, I had friends that would show up to work almost empty, fill up at the beginning of their shift and at the end, on the company's gas card.

nah, you should know me better than that

i'm just letting my opinion be known. and i'm always up for a good debate. if i'm called ignorant or and ass just because my opinion is different from others, that's where i wanna make sure i'm clear as to why that judgement was passed. and so far, all i've seen is that those comments are just mildly flamatory. sure i can admit when i'm being an ass or ignorant, but no one has proved that in this thread

i've been involved in this thread a lot because i enjoyed all the arguments back and forth
 
i would've loved to keep the snapping turtle thread going too but people stopped responding to that thread
