What is your rarest fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
rare is not always a good thing. it usually means they are either illegal, not hardy pets, and usually not good pets lol.
Maybe in some cases. But some fish are hard to breed that makes it to expensive for most people. if you are good at fish keeping I would not think it would be hard to care for a non-hardy fish.

Any fish can be hardy, as long as you can cater to there needs. Breeding is a different story.

Any one with a ST has a rare, if not the rarest fish. Do to the fact that there isn't any in the wild.

I was gonna use st as an example of a fish that is rare no matter your location

titanium peacock
mayan cichlids
fossorochromis rostratus
cynotilapia rhoadesii

besides the peacock, are any of these actually rare? Some of the fish listed in this post are not and it occurred to me that mine aren't really either.I don't know for sure. It's always changing and location could also be an issue.

Just tried getting a pic of the p. afers, but I don't have a light on their tank aside from ambient room lighting and they hang out in the PVC. So I got a brownish blur. I'm not making it up that I have them though--ask Wes! Haha.

you have one ,why can't you post a pic?

It's top secret.

Naw, it's beat up and it's not real photogenic. I'll post a picture once he heals and puts a little weight on.

Sneak peek...;)
