Messy eating habbits. Who could I toss in the tank to clean this waste of food up from the cichlids ?

180 gallon, 6x2x2 dimensions.

I was thinking clown loaches. Any other cool fish that I can think of ? I have a birchir coming into the tank tomorow. A "dino eel"

I use ghost shrimps, my fish eventually eat them so I put in about 2 dozen per month, also feed less! U don't have to stuff ur fish to death!

Synodontis are extremely agressive they can easily stand there ground against cichlids. Additionally synodontis multipunctatus is a parasitic fish that will host with african cichlids. They are incredibly entertaining. They eat primarily detritus on the bottom. Here's an interesting nat geo vid on cuckoo catfish! check it out!

ditto on the syno...i've kept big eupterus with cichlids with no issues...very robust...also kept 4line pims with new world cichlids. They are very active and fairly aggressive too

I use nerite snails, if they are eaten it is generally very slowly due to their thick shell, they don't reproduce out of control loke many snails, and they never stop cleaning, if you have enough, about a dozen should last you several months in a 180

Ill prolly be yelled at but I have a craw fish with my jags, lil guy eats any left overs and the kids love him
