I'm vegan. Used to be pescatarian--a person who eats only vegetables, dairy, and seafood.

If you're interested, check out Forks Over Knives. All about the health effects of eating animal proteins.

I've never understood "vegetarians" who eat seafood or the whole catholic eat fish on Friday because you can't eat meat, I'll always consider fish meat but whatever. In fact I encourage more people to become vegetarian and vegan, it's a great choice...and it leaves more delicious bacon and steak for me. I'll never hate on someone for their beliefs though, as long as they leave mine alone as well.

Soy is poisonous.

And why would you make is a point to kill so much more frequently? All those innocent , tiny plants and seeds - slaughtered daily by vegetarians.

Actually, you need to read this:

As a hobbyist, you should be lobbying against these mono-crops that are destroying the amazon, not advocating them. ONE cow can feed a family of four for a year, and that's a local, grass-fed sustainable cow. You're wiping species out of existence and claiming the blood of some thirty mice or birds and their irreplaceable habitat for every box of toxic soy drink you consume. How is that better? Tell me?

Also, it's really easy to spot a vegan. After about a year, they wobble a lot, have no energy, and their muscles are wasting away. They also turn the heat up all the time because they are so malnourished ad cold. Fine by me, more real food coming my way.

^ lol, tell 'em Knife!

and to the OP: how does animal-by-product fit into your definition of vegetarian "is formed from the word vegetable and the suffix -arian meaning a person who" but seafood doesn't? I guess I'm asking what the difference is if they BOTH don't come from plants?

I could never turn vegetarian I need meat be it chicken beef pork poultry or seafood you could never get me to be vegetarian.all you vegans and vegetarians r missing out
