There's a big difference between the D40 and D50 and that is on the D40 it doesn't have a built in motor for auto focusing the lens.

Yeah, i read about that. Im pretty set on getting a D50. A D70 just seems to intense for me and too expensive.

What settings are all ur camera set too?

Too many variables to have one setting.

I usually start shooting at F2.8 Shutter 1/100 and ISO200

It will vary per camera, amount of light, and the type of shot you want to get. Do lots of homework.

My new camera is a Kodak Easy Share Z710, the cost was around $250.
Good camera for the price.
Here is a sample picture

Just my opinion but kodak easy shares suck. I have two of them and I hate both of them. Paid around $300 for the one and it will never take as good of pics as my nikon will! JMHO

Rightly so. Think about it. Canon and Nikon are leading camera manufacturers, whether its the good ol' 35mm SLR or the DSLR. Kodak on the other hand are renown for their photo papers, chemicals and various photographic accessories. Either canon or nikon cameras will do nicely. It can be the simple and easy to use PS or the higher end DSLR's the image from these cameras are awesome. :grinno:
