can someone please help me and let me know what kind of electric catfish I have I’ve done a lot of searching online. I’m thinking mine is the small male species maybe but I really would like to know for sure. A lot of the juveniles look the same.

If I had to pick I would suggest you could be in luck…….. large growing.
I had one awhile back there awesome just keep by itself in a large tank. Malapterurus electricus it looks like to me.

I had an opportunity to get a fat one at least 16" long last year but no proper tank space for the beast. Totally regretting it now.
