Hello,

Asking for confirmation of the type of Lapradei is in the pictures attached? I believe its WC due to the head shape difference compared to my CB Laps.
**Apologize for the lower quality pics. the patterns are also darker compared to my other laps as well

Thanks in advance!

No. Wild caught koliba are from Guinea. I believe you do have a cb koliba in your tank.

Honestly I'm always so confused on how ppl can tell what exact region a bichir comes from. Especially when there are several regions that house the exact same specie of bichir. Is there some sort of chart or graph that shows what these different regional varients look like in each region? Like let's say if I had a wild caught Senegal would there be a chart or graph the would show what all the Senegal's in different regions look like? Because I honestly can't tell the difference between a wild caught bichir from one region vs another region. Kind of like with these 2 on the right in OP's last pic here.

Ik they are both laps but I'd have no way of figuring out where either one came from let alone if they are from 2 different regions entirely. They both look the same to me but I'm certainly no expert in this field. If someone could atleast explain it to me I'd really appreciate the extra knowledge.
