What kind of Monster Fish Keeper Are You?

On recent, I notice quite a number of people start keeping monster fishes in extreme mixes...good example would be keeping of giant goldfishes/carps/Kois together with the likes of oscars, arowanas, arapaimas, stingrays etc..

Some more would be like keeping discus/angles or worse cardinal tetras with arowanas etc..

So, how many brudders or sistas here dun mind such mixing? or u will still stick on keeping just monsters with monsters only tanks

I'm a Minor Fish Keeper. I don't feel I can house any monsters, so i stick my realistic interests on the small spitfires, most of whom get less than 12".



please don't beat me up :(
 
I used to keep a swarm of glolights, head+tail lights, and neons in a tank with an ocelate pike cichlid. I did have to keep buying tetras but I got them cheap, the pc was happy, and the tank looked cool.
 
i have a single tinfoil barb in my 200g cichlid tank, that i tend to regret getting, if that's what you mean. I don't dislike him so much that he gets the death trip to the LFS or freezer, though. I'm the only one that ever sees my tanks anyway, except my parents, and they don't know any better.

Used to have a Tin foil in one of my tanks too...comprising of an Asian Aro, 2 oscars, 1 golden severum, 1 tig catfish and a golden plec...

this dude did not make it eventually...and i still dunno whose the killer.. :cry:

Yeah..great..but sometimes there are just too many types of fishes u wan to keep and u are stuck with limited tanks..so hard to follow thru have only a specie type tank only..
