What kind of Parachromis is it really?

Here's the lowdown. I ordered this fish from Jeff Rapps and it arrived Tuesday. (5 days ago) It was advertised by Rapps as a 6-7" wild caught Parachomis Loisellei. The other day I posted a single picture to show it off and got numerous responses that it's not a Loisellei. I took some more pics so everyone can see him better. As far as personality, he's out swimming all over the tank now and has established himself as second in command after the much larger Jag. He eats like a horse and is already becoming quite owner responsive.

Ok here he is. Please help identify:

looks like a friedricksthalli to me, both losielli and freddies get that coloration on top, but the spot placement, and color tell me it's a freddy. though i can't be sure becuase most of the loiselli i see, are not F0's, rather captive breed

I'm not convinced that it's a freddi, but perhaps. Are there known cases where Rapps has sold something under the wrong name that he should be able to ID fairly easily? If it were something odd and rare I could see an issue, but he should have enough experience (much more than I) with parachromis to know the difference.

Well I know that I'm happy with this fish whatever it is but I would like to know for sure. Jeff is very experienced and he obviously says Loisellei. I've not heard one person here think so though. I've gotten several Motaguense and Freddy opinions though. hmmm....

Wild caught are going to look like most have never seen... email Jeff to confirm with pic. If he says yes it is... then enjoy your lil Monster

I would say (Loisellei)They are like freddies but should be bulkier,Like there on steriods.Google the 2 under images and you will soon see .Very nice fish I might add.

I'll vote again here. I'm pretty sure that is a gold motaguense. I picked up a young pair from Rapps yesterday. My male looks like a mini version of yours. Beautiful fish BTW. If you don't like him, send him my way.
