well, I'm not absolutely sure, but I would say crenicichla xingu 1. . Theyre probably the most common pike you'll find at a LFS. Anybody else wanna take a stab at this.

the xingu 1 get to be about 12 inches or so from what I've looked up. How big of a tank do you have this guy in and what tankmates does he have.

he's in a 55used to be with dwarf cichlids then got rid of them an kept him an jus recently about 2wks ago got oscar an red devil(who both dont bother him)

your definetely overstocked man. sorry to say that, but a 55 isnt enough to hold all three of those guys. Hate to be the bearer of bad news. I'm really not sure about your pike though. Peanut power will def. help you out better there, but in the meantime, you should think about getting rid of 2 of those 3 guys.

 , check this later because peanut power will def. give you a confirmation on the type of pike that you have.

Where is Peanut_Power? He will know.. I have seen this pike also labelled as Crenichla 'Bellyhopper' as they usually lay around and hop along the bottom of the tank? There is one at my LFS, I was half tempted to purchase it.. but I have pikes..

yeah he does that but he does go up an gets his food. he loves the house i got for my rams from evan rosental pottery. if something was to happen to all my fish i would be sad if i lost him. to me his irreplaceable
