i would have thought you would have humidity /heat issues, personally i dont like the idea of a closed top
It's just the top of the tank that is to be closed. I've seen many done that way. There is still the need for part of the system to expose water to air. That will be the heat exchange and gas exchange.

Like Matt (Zoodiver) said, the benthic species like the Bamboos, Epaulettes, Horn Sharks & Coral Catshark are all good for this tank.
Wobbegongs - it depends on the species in question - the smaller species - such as the Ornate, Japanese, or Northern, can easily be kept in such a tank. Larger species like the Spotted and Banded Wobbies - get to big for this tank.
Swimming sharks such as the Leopard, Dogfish, and Reef Sharks maybe while the young - but they definitely out grow this tank.
As for Bull Sharks - NO Way - Remember Bull Sharks can get to be over 10 ft long. So adults will need a tank with a footprint that's at least 10 times that size.
As for Banjo Sharks - they aren't really sharks - but are a type of ray.

This will not actually be at my house, but, at the conservatory/restaurant/catering/greenhouse that I am building in the days to come. My present restaurant has been used as a micro version of what I actually have in the planning stages. A land developer approached me about placing this within the 40 acre gated community/mini city that he is building.
One thing that I have to come across and overcome are the provincial regulations for such a thing. Yet, as I already do work for a provincial branch on a contract basis I have a few inroads that I can travel down.
The thoughts that I am reworking in terms of a shark tank is a central tank with either a pass through walk way or a walk in sit down area very much like the restaurant in the Maldives. This would mean a 6-8foot tall tank in the middle of the room with a base that is 1 1/2-3 foot and a tank that is 3 1/2- 5 feet and would be much longer and wider than previously planned.
If you are talking about what I am going to do in my house now you are talking monster. That will however be easiliy 5 years down the road. Picture if you can walking into your own private jungle/greenhouse.
and black tip reefs?
Keep in mind a black tip reef will be over 5' long at full size and very active. 20' length goes quick with a shark that size swimming around.
