what kind of toad am i? store didn't know

doesnt look look a cane toad poison glands are too small
I think it might be an every day american toad or it could be a boreal toad or a spadefoot

It does look now like a cane toad body wise but latshki is correct about the glands being to small. I had no idea what Boreal toad was till he mentioned it but does look like your toad -

hmmm hard to tell what type toad. Toads do like it dryer and love to semi bury in soil

Even a walmart bin like those plastic 30 inch long ones with screen top works great for Cane toads or any toad.

its not a cane toad or a spade foot or an american toad, I am leaning towards the Colorado River toad but am not 100% sure.

Id go with Colorado or maybe Bufo aspera (Giant Asian River Toad)-quite common in the trade.

none of the toads suggested look remotely close to what i have. i have googled all of them. it still looks closest to a juvenile cane toad =\

i mean it really doesn"t matter i just need to know if it is more tropical or temperate.
